Phosphoric Acid
There are metaphosphoric acid, pyrophosphoric acid, orthophosphoric acid, triphosphoric acid, and tetraphosphoric acid, and polymetaphosphoric acid by polymerization of metaphosphoric acid, but usually exists as orthophosphoric acid. It is non-volatile and becomes pyrophosphoric acid or polyphosphoric acid when heated, and then metaphosphoric acid if heated more. It dolves in alcohol and violently corrodes metals and their oxides.
